Valley Of The Dolls

Our first photo shoot for F.A.D. magazine yesterday was phenomenal. The models were great, the location was amazing, and the clothing was fabulous. It was fun to put together the looks and collaborate with Michael and Christina on ideas and concepts. Everything went smoothly... for the most part (lol). We got some really amazing shots, I can't wait to see the final product.

Spring Fever

Spring so far has been so much fun. I went to see DJ Spider, I got my art shown at Artlife Gallery, I was in the Factory Party advert, and Factory Party #5 was nothing short of amazing. My friends and I are going to Steve Aoki this Sunday, and then Thunderheist, and then No Doubt for my birthday. I live fabulously and I love my friends. :)

Factory Boy

So, Factory Party was nothing short of amazing! A great evening of music, art, and fashion. Everyone looked amazing, Calgary's fashion scene is growing by leaps and bounds. The girls looked beautiful, like an army of modern-day Edie Sedgwicks. And the gentlemen were dapper in a variety of creative ensembles. I can't wait for Factory Party #5!

The Year In Review!

What a year it's been! 2008 was certainly a busy year. I saw many of my favourite bands and musicians, including MSTRKRFT (three times this year!), (meeting) Ladytron, Dragonette, Feist, Datarock, Chromeo, Bloc Party, Felix Da Housecat, and most importantly, GOLDFRAPP!! Our trip to Vancouver to see Goldfrapp was probably the highlight of my year. Best three days I ever spent. Below are some of this year's highlights.
